"Great way to quickly organize and collaborate with teams"

What do you like best?

The flexibility; it's easy to add and sort information, as well as tag colleagues to specific tasks or line items. The sync to Saleforce is a game changer too; very easy to use.

What do you dislike?

I wish there were more hotkeys or shortcuts. Its closest comparison is Excel, which you can operate much faster. Additional integrations with portfolio management tools, like Addepar would be nice too.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We're replacing menial Excel files. We track and monitor projects more productively using Smartsheet. However; Excel is still better to use when needing more advanced analyses.

What do you like best?

It has an automation feature which is so helpful. Also, it is online, so multiple users can make changes at the same time.

I wish I could change the font of the header

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have created smart sheets to that the progress of tasks assigned to our team. They update the status frequently, and it is automatically updated on the sheet. I love the report feature too.

"A great tool for road mapping and project management"

What do you like best?

We use Smartsheet for road mapping and project management. It has proven to be an excellent tool for this purpose. Some of the nice features include the dependency management feature, the integrated Gantt view, task duration calculation, and start/finish time validation. All of this is available in a collaborative spreadsheet environment allowing all of our team members to easily participate in keeping our roadmap current during our planning meetings.

What do you dislike?

The collaboration features require saves for peer refresh. I would like to see near real-time collaboration. I would also like to see integration with Jira and Github.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Smartsheet helps the team move towards our goals. Smartsheet is giving us the ability to provide reliable dates for our deliverables.

"Dynamic Spreadsheets for any project"

What do you like best?

I love the ability to set up an automation that is based on a specific action that takes place in the smartsheet. I can set up reminders, send automatic emails to pass a task to another user, and send forms and surveys. Honestly, this feature has unlimited usage. I also love how you can create summaries of sheets or a set of sheets.

What do you dislike?

There is a learning curve to using SmartSheet. Also, the "Column Type" is limited; specifically, text and number are grouped as an option. I have several use cases where I need just a number and format it as a number. Additionally, there are several features that I feel a key for a spreadsheet that are not included in Smartsheet, like finding duplicates on a single Smartsheet and some formulas that you would find in Excel.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use SmartSheets for tracking projects, creating company surveys and collecting responses, automating communication around task and projects, creating checklists for larger projects, and for general organization. The benefits are collaboration across working groups while being dynamic and real-time, improved time-management, and improved processes.
