What are the best aspects of this product?

They scan your receipts and can review them through their interface

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I have a few:
I can't export each receipt separately easily.
The customer service is NON EXISTENT, I send messages and no one responds.
The interface is clunky and slow and has not been updated in years (we have been a customer for 6 years)
The scanning has gone downhill, the quality of the OCR is HORRIBLE. My scans with Quickbooks are better (and part of the subscription).

What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?

Customer Service. I don't think anyone works there.

What are the best aspects of this product?

I like the idea that someone helps me scan and file my receipt s accordingly. They categorize it well, so it would be easier to find them inside the platform.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

They could add another category for Schedule C tax so I could easily declare my profits or losses from this year onwards.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I found a better way to keep my receipts well organized. I wish that I thought about this platform a long time ago, then I wouldn't have encountered a lot of issues due to missing receipts.

What are the best aspects of this product?

It helps me make most of my work a lot easier. I don’t have to worry about missing receipts and take so much time to compile stuff. Shoeboxed can now do all of these things for me.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Shoeboxed comes with great features, but I am not comfortable using it because the user interface bothers me a lot. Also, there a lot of instances that the system is working too slow. I sometimes have to retake or upload the photos since the system would freeze out of nowhere. Also, the payment status should be accurate because the figures don’t reconcile on my bank account.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

It makes our workflow more efficient. Creating reports doesn’t have to be tedious anymore because everything that you need is available on the platform.

What are the best aspects of this product?

Our accountant no longer feels pressured when working on our business taxes. She can access all year to date receipts by logging into our Shoeboxed corporate account.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I find it inconvenient to mail the receipts for scanning, so I ask someone to do it.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I am happy that all my paperwork, including the receipts, are stored in an archive where they are safe and accessible.

What are the best aspects of this product?

I can have all my travel, and official business expenses reimbursed even if I am not at the office. All I need to do is take a picture of my receipts using my phone and send it to Shoeboxed, who takes charge of sorting and verifying the receipts' details.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The payment status in the platform does not match the figures in my payroll account. It says that the payment has pushed through, but the reimbursed amount is not showing yet.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

There are no more issues and hassles in submitting receipts that are due for reimbursement.
