What do you like best?
In one application, Microsoft Project allows you to keep track of resources (e.g., time, labor, etc.) as you complete your project. It does this through GANTT charts and other various means. You can see who is assigned to what tasks, how much time he/she has to complete the tasks, etc. on a single page.
What do you dislike?
Microsoft Project costs a business to use. There are other applications available in the market which are lower cost or free. Microsoft Project requires some effort to learn - you may wish to use a tutorial.

Consider using a tutorial to learn Microsoft Project. I attended a class on Microsoft Project.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
The problem that I am solving with Microsoft Project is management of my projects. On a single page, I can see who needs to do what, in what amount of time allocated so that the project can be successfully completed. Microsoft Project is extremely versatile as I can change its parameters when the project changes, e.g., if I add on more labor or the project runs out of time. In addition, Microsoft Project will allow me to run "what-if" scenarios on the project.

Microsoft Project is a powerful tool to manage work from quick projects to more complex initiatives. You can get started quickly and collaborate with remote teams anywhere
What do you dislike?
It is not simple and a little robust. You cannot customize as much as I would like.

Microsoft Project keeps me on task for all my major projects. Once you get the hang of using it, it is a great software to use and is something I user daily for all my projects.
