"Great way to simply give recognition in a public space!"
What do you like best?
I love that it's easily accessible through Slack. Giving a public thank you or shout of appreciation takes less than 3-5 minutes (depending on if you're looking for the right GIF) but you'll get pinged if someone sends you pickles (ours are pickles) and everyone can scroll through to see what's going on.
Being on a global team it's nice to be able to see what other folks are doing whether it's collaborating on projects or just sending a random card that touched someone's heart—the possibilities are really endless ????
What do you dislike?
At some point, it comes to a point where people are simply giving recognition to who they mostly interact with (typically their team!) It would be SO awesome if Assembly has some sort of way to bring people together who typically won't have the chance to connect.
I don't feel the need to ALWAYS give recognition publicly because telling the person directly in a more intimate manner I feel like means a lot more.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Our team is completely global and spans across different countries and timezones, to say the least. I love seeing our praise channel because I get to learn more about people I either haven't connected with, or I wouldn't have the chance to work with!

"An amazing employee recognition platform!"
What do you like best?
I like how simple and fast the platform is, it's so effortless to thank or recognize an employee and it really does make their day. We have a lot of remote employees so it's also nice to be in the know of how they're making an impact on the company.
What do you dislike?
There really isn't anything to dislike. There was once a bug but the assembly team responded extremely quickly and fixed it that same day.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely use it! We love it
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I think as a fast paced company we were always on the go trying to get things done and didn't stop and really show appreciation for each other so this is a fun way of doing that. Everyone has a lot of fun with it and it really motivates the team to work harder

"A Positive Review for Assembly"
What do you like best?
Nice to have a consistent reminder to acknowledge your peers - and couldn't we all use a little extra love right now?!? That fact that you can, with a couple of simple clicks - tell your peer (and the rest of the company) that you appreciate their efforts sure is nice. We're all looking for that effortless experience... and Assembly, in my opinion ranks very well as a platform that offers exactly that. In addition to your words, you can add cool trophies and meaningful badges. (not sure if they are customizable, but here's what I show of the badges: Teamwork, Life Saver, Leadership, Problem Solver, and Initiative. Another feature that I really likes is the ability to add images and gifs - which just makes things a lot more fun. And we all know, that if you're having fun at work, it shows in your performance. I'm not the technical guy, but sure looks like the integration with Slack is stellar.
What do you dislike?
Assembly allows me to recognize folks, but one thing I wish it had... it would be nice to have more trophies to give out... part of my gamification mentality I suppose. I went to give a trophy a co-worker recently, and I couldn't remember if I had already given him one. I looked for a place where I could see past recognition I had given. I couldn't find one so I thought, "That's a feature that I feel could be an improvement.' (A search field for finding what individuals you've already recognized...) When I reached out to suggest that feature, a very responsive, kind, funny representative - Lindsey - quickly reported that the feature I suggested would be coming in a few days. Wow, that never happens! (I told her that I wished I could use Assembly to to recognize her!)
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Everyone likes thank-you notes, right? I like to praise my co-workers when they do something good. Assembly gives me a simple platform to be able to do that. One of the benefits of Assembly is that others in the company can see what you've shared. And for people who like games - and want trophies on their wall - they are working harder to get that recognition - and that's a win-win for the whole company! One thing that I use Assembly for is to find the right people. For example, if I have a problem that I need help with, and I'm not exactly sure who the best person is to help me with that problem - I'll look in assembly to see who is winning, or being recognized most. I can reach out to that person... telling them that I noticed that they get a lot of accolades from other employees, so they must be awesome, and would they willing to help me. Well of course they are - because they ARE awesome - and because they know i they help me, I'll likely recognize them as well! Again, Win-Win! And it's easy to get to Assembly - we've created a Slack Channel dedicated to it.
